Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise watering times for external water use in:
Carmila
Clermont (No restrictions)
Dysart
Glenden
Middlemount
Nebo
St Lawrence
Moranbah
Commercial users
- During these times residents may only use one watering device including a sprinkler, soaker hose, hand held hose or a micro irrigation system.
- Irrigation systems require Council approval.
- The use of automatic pop up sprinklers and irrigation systems will involve restrictions on the use of other sprinkler devices.
- Breach of these restrictions will result in an infringement notice and an on the spot fine of $200.
Outside of these allocated times:
- Residents may use a directed hand held garden hose at any time with the exception of Moranbah.
- Residents with Council Approved automated watering systems operating outside of these hours should conform to their approved watering times and clearly display the Isaac Regional Council Approval Notice, visible on their boundary from the adjacent street.
Residences on western side of Bruce Highway Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Residences on eastern side of Bruce Highway Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
A maximum of three (3) hours per approved day between 6am and 7am and 5pm and 7pm only.
Odd house numbers Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Even house numbers Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday
A maximum of three (3) hours per approved day between 5pm and 8pm only
A maximum of two (2) hours per day, between either 6am to 8am OR 6pm to 8pm

As an interim arrangement commercial users can irrigate under the conditions below. Council’s ultimate goal is to accommodate commercial users within the effluent reuse system when effluent water quality and EPA licence issues have been finalised.
