Glenden residents to receive example water notices

Council is providing example water notices from Monday, November 12 in the lead-up to Glenden’s first payable notice to be issued early next year.

This is to help ratepayers in Glenden prepare for the new water charging system which came into effect from July 1, 2018.

This example is recorded water consumption by MiWater and a charge for the three month period for July 1 to September 30, 2018.

Payment is not required for this example notice.

Using this example three-month period, you are encouraged to review your water usage and potential water charges over a six-month period against Council’s pricing table by visiting our website, www.isaac.qld.gov.au/water-charges.

The first payable water notice issued for the period July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 will be sent to Glenden ratepayers for the first time in February 2018, in line with other Isaac communities.
The actual six monthly water notice will be validated through an actual physical meter read to ensure accuracy.

The user pays system enables ratepayers to monitor their water use and associated costs. It also provides an opportunity for high users to change their water consumption habits to save water and save money. The lower the consumption, the lower the cost.
