Half-yearly water notices arriving across Isaac

Isaac water users are urged to keep an eye on letterboxes for their water notices set to arrive from February 12, 2019.

The payable water notice is for the period between July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018.

Residents are encouraged to pay before 5pm on March 15, 2019.

Council’s ongoing water consumption charging program is now in effect across all Isaac communities.

Council has worked hard to keep this as a fair system to stop lower water consumers subsidising heavy users.

With the growing demand, it is vital for Council to future-proof its water security.

We’ve invested a total of $12.92 million to be poured into 29 sewage projects in 2018-19 while a further $10.07 million will flow into 30 water projects.

Council will continue to work in repairing and replacing ageing infrastructure across Isaac.

Many of these issues are historic in nature and by working together, Council will be able to deliver a more efficient, cost-effective and sustainable water and wastewater network.

The Water and Waste directorate is dedicated to achieving long-term outcomes which meet the expectations of our communities through the improvement of infrastructure, service delivery and products, including drinking water quality and recycled water opportunities.

This significant investment in water security for the region is important for residents today and tomorrow.

Users can set email and SMS alerts and be notified of water leaks and high consumption within days of occurrence. Visit for more information.

Residents have the option to BPAY payments weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Water users are being reminded the payment option of BPAY has a minimum payment amount of $10.

Any credit balance remaining after payment of the water notice will be applied to the following rates notice.

Residents can use the biller code and reference number from the water notice.
