Have your say on managing flying foxes in Isaac

From Monday, September 24 to Friday, October 26, Isaac Regional Council is seeking community feedback on options for managing flying foxes in urban areas. Flying foxes naturally migrate through and establish temporary roosts in our region from August to January each year. We are seeking your suggestions to help us determine how to respond effectively if flying foxes are causing problems.

Consultation closes on Friday, October 26. In early November, we will share a summary of what we heard from the community through the survey and info share sessions. Community feedback will inform a Statement of Management Intent which will set out a consistent approach for managing flying fox roosts on urban areas. The Statement of Management Intent will be presented at a Council Meeting in late November.
