Restoration of SBS TV reception - Glenden
Isaac Regional Council advises that SBS television services have now been restored in Glenden.
There is currently a technical issue with ABC and this is likely to be fixed next week.
ABC and SBS has now been restored across all affected Coastal communities in the Isaac region.
Residents will need to retune their televisions or set-up boxes to receive the restored free-to-air ABC and SBS signal.
Households in the four communities have been unable to receive channels from the two broadcasters via Council-owned retransmission infrastructure after ABC and SBS made changes to satellite transmission arrangements in late 2017.
Isaac was among 25 local government areas across Australia that were negatively impacted by these changes.
