Second 2017-18 water notice arriving
The second payable water notice has been issued for the period January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Residents are encouraged to pay before 5pm on September 5, 2018.
The first water notice issued for Glenden and in line with other Isaac communities will be for the period July 1, 2018 to December 31, 2018 and will be issued during late January/early February, 2019.
Council has worked hard to keep this as a fair system to stop lower water consumers subsidising heavy users.
With the growing demand, it is vital for Council to future-proof its water security, in the past 12 months we’ve invested a total of $32 million in water and sewerage maintenance and infrastructure.
This significant investment in water security for the region is important for residents today and tomorrow. It’s not too late to sign up to MiWater and residents are encouraged to adopt water-saving initiatives.
Ratepayers can sign up to online at www.isaac.qld.gov.au/miwater. Users can set email and SMS alerts and be notified of water leaks and high consumption within days of occurrence. Visit www.isaac.qld.gov.au/water-charges for more information.
Ratepayers who have encountered delays with the postal service in their area can register their email address with Council for an additional water notice to be issued electronically.
Council encourages ratepayers to update their postal details with Council to ensure water notices arrive on time.
For comprehensive information on different property types, localities and associated water charges, visit www.isaac.qld.gov.au/water-charges or the Council’s Revenue Statement which is available via www.isaac.qld.gov.au/budget
