Twinkling lights competition sets scene for Christmas

Shining reindeer, giant Santas and twinkling lights of all shapes and colours have set the scene for a successful Christmas light competitions in Isaac.

With some truly spectacular displays, the Isaac Christmas Light Competitions have announced winners in each town.

Mayor Anne Baker said the competitions were held in Clermont, the Isaac Coast, Dysart, Glenden, Middlemount, Moranbah and Nebo.

“It’s one of the best family experiences at Christmas, travelling the streets and seeing the twinkling lights,” Mayor Baker said.

“Thank you to all our judges and Councillors who took part in selecting the winners.

“Congratulations to all the winners and well done to all who made the effort to share the joy of Christmas to your community."

2017 Isaac Christmas Lights Competition Winners

Council has partnered with Dysart Community Support Group (DCSG) and the Carmila Christmas Tree Committee to host the 2017 Isaac Christmas Lights Competition.
