Isaac Regional Council delivered on their commitment to the long term future of the Isaac region by adopting Isaac 2035, Council’s Community Strategic Plan (PDF, 3.6 MB) on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Mayor Anne Baker said Council has an unwavering commitment to securing a prosperous, sustainable and resilient future for their people.

“Isaac 2035 outlines how we will work together towards enabling strong, vibrant, diverse and sustainable communities for our people over the next 20 years.”

“Achieving Isaac 2035’s visions will require a united effort and we invite you all to work with us towards bringing this vision to life.”

Isaac 2035 aims to strengthen the region across four key areas, with actions in place to:

• improve essential infrastructure
• diversify the economy
• support communities
• protect the natural environment

The plan informs all Council's strategic planning documents, including the Corporate Plan - Isaac 2020, the Annual Operational Plan and the Budget.

It is a living document, designed to change to reflect community changes throughout the life of the plan.
