In partnership with local Councils, the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services Community Drought Support Packages seek to strengthen the resilience of drought affected Queenslanders by improving access to and participation in support services and community events.

Isaac Regional Council is proud to be successful in securing and distributing $65,000 in programs under the Community Drought Support Packages in 2015, with another $50,000 to be distributed in 2016.

Council is currently inviting expressions of interest from local community groups and organisations to seek funding under the 2016 Community Drought Support Funding Package up to the value of $5,000.

Interested organisations are encouraged to complete the below form and/or contact Council’s Grants Administration Officer at or phone 1300 472 227. 

Council will distribute available funds to local community organisations who will provide the delivery of a range of local community events and activities that contribute to connectedness, social wellbeing and increase access to support services.
