The Clermont Aerodrome is owned and operated by Isaac Regional Council. We primarily cater for Emergency Services, FIFO Charters and light aircraft. See 'Aerodromes' section in Fees and Charges schedule (PDF, 768KB).

Security Pedestrian Gate

  • A Security Pedestrian Gate has been installed. The Security Gate will prevent unauthorised access and is fully supported by the Aviation Transport Security Office.
  • The Pedestrian Gate is controlled by a pin code system.
  • To gain access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, aircraft owners and operators will need to phone 0418 791 597 to gain the gate pin code.

AvGas Drum Refuelling

Refuelling is conducted Monday to Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Contact must be made prior to ensure staff availability and attendance through calling:  0418 791 597.  
Refuelling conducted outside of the stated days and hours will incur a callout fee of $262.65

In accordance with Safety Regulations, please be advised the following safety measures will be strictly enforced:

  • Council's Aerodrome Officer directions must be followed at all times
  • Drums that are not empty will not be filled
  • All drums must be clean and free of dents on arrival, otherwise, they may not be filled
  • Damaged drums may not be filled
  • The ‘Conditions of Purchase of Aviation Fuel' Form must be signed by the customer

Further details

  • All aircraft requiring to park or refuel on the main apron must obtain prior permission from Isaac Regional Council.
  • For further Pilot information pertaining to the Clermont Aerodrome please refer to the ERSA.
  • There are couple of airstrips in the Isaac Region, classified as ALA "Aeroplane Landing Area". These are for light aircraft landings and are located at Nebo and St Lawrence.
  • The suitability of these airstrips is not guaranteed. Pilots use at own risk.

The airstrip at Nebo is described as an Aircraft Landing Area (ALA) and is for light aircraft only.
The suitability of the airstrip is not guaranteed, pilots use at their own risk.
