Accreditations

The J.R. Turner Saleyards is an EU Accredited facility (EUSY4721) and NLIS compliant. We are also proud to announce that the saleyards is now a Cattle Tick Accredited Certifier with Jane Shelvey an authorised signatory for Council.

The saleyards operation actively promotes workplace health and safety. The design incorporates standards for the safe, efficient handling and care of livestock. Council is continually improving service and quality of the saleyards and is currently the only EU Accredited Saleyard in the Isaac Region.
