Welcome to Isaac Regional Council Libraries

Library membership is free to all residents of Isaac Regional Council and surrounding areas, i.e. Mackay Regional Council and Central Highlands Regional Council.  Adults (over 18) can simply bring current identification to any of our libraries to join.  Children and young people under 18 can join the library when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must also be a library member and provide identification.  Children 0-12 years of age must be supervised by a carer/caregiver at all times whilst in the library or when attending an organised children’s activity.

A temporary membership is available for two (2) months, after which time proof of residency is required to be verified by Isaac Library Staff.

To become a full member please visit your local Isaac Library with two forms of identification e.g.:

  • Photographic identification e.g.
