Our Libraries are jam-packed with fun!
The Isaac Libraries also offer many different programs which are free, fun and cater for all ages. Please note you need to book with your local Library and parents/caregivers must attend.
Children's Programs
First 5 Forever Baby Bounce
(0-2 years)
Meet other parents and babies for a fun session of singing, clapping and dancing. Learn songs and action rhymes to nurture your baby’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills.

First 5 Forever Story Time
(2-5 years)
Let your children listen and participate in interactive group storytelling sessions. Bright, vibrant picture book tales come alive when read by library staff along with a simple craft activity which can help enhance fine motor skill development.

First 5 Forever Rhyme Time
(0-5 years)
Learn action rhymes and songs which will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language and social skills. Then join in a simple craft activity to help enhance fine motor skill development. Join with other parents and children for a fun social gathering.

Pop-Ups @ The Park
Isaac Libraries are bringing special outdoor Story Time sessions across the region for the first time called Pop Ups @ the Park.
Children will be able to experience the magic of Story Time with their parents during a First 5 Forever Story Time session in the park at our pop-up library.
This interactive session includes stories, songs, craft and activities for young children.
First 5 Forever is a literacy program aimed at supporting stronger language and literacy environments for babies and young children from 0–5 years and their families.
Isaac Libraries encourage parents and caregivers to share activities at home and out and about in the early years as an important part in the development of language skills.

Play Time sessions encourage parents to explore play activities with their child, to create stories and make new discoveries about their world.

Free, fun, simple craft sessions guided by library staff.

Need some help with that homework task? Maybe just a quiet place to do your homework. Library staff will assist you.
Bookings are essential for Children’s Programs
It is essential to book for all children’s programs to ensure the group is kept to a manageable number and there are enough resources. We do not like to turn anyone away once the session is full, please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Bookings are required for all activities and all children 12 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian, as per the Isaac Regional Library Service – Children and Young Adults Policy.
Bookings for the children’s programs can be made by phoning 1300 ISAAC (472 227).

Would you like to explore your creativity, share your crafty ideas and meet like-minded people? Do you want to take on a new project but don’t know how? Come to our creative space, where you can create, share, inspire and be inspired. Bring along a craft project that you are working on and see where it takes you.
Million Stars Project
Work station available anytime – we are halfway to Isaac’s 10,000 stars.
Book Discussion Group
An adult group where a chosen book is talked and discussed in an open friendly forum.
Adult Study Group
Are you doing external studies and would like to set a routine? Need the company of others for motivation? Come along and join other students for some quiet company.
Adult tech sessions
Improve your computer skills by asking our friendly library staff for tips and advice. Solve basic computer problems.
