Coastal Hazards Information

Following engagement with coastal communities about coastal hazards in July and September 2018, Council has determined to develop an alternative approach instead of the Limited Development Zone previously proposed. The alternative approach is being developed with community input to:

1. Protect life and Property (Council’s responsibility) and
2. Provide the quiet enjoyment of property by residents (Community benefit) and
3. Satisfy the State Planning Policy 2017 (State’s requirements)
