Council Libraries remain open - Suspension to programs currently provided

Council would like to advise a suspension until further notice of scheduled children's programming at
libraries across the region.

Council would like to advise a suspension until further notice of scheduled children's programming at libraries across the region.

This includes weekly programming sessions such as Baby Bounce, Story Time, Rhyme Time, Play Time and Crafts, in addition to early learning community outreach programming, such as First 5 Forever Pop Ups @ The Park.

Libraries across the Isaac region will remain open to all members of our public and all ages.

This is a precautionary measure for the health and wellbeing of our youngest residents and their care providers.

There has so far been a low rate of confirmed COVID-19 cases among children, relative to the broader population however, to ensure strong hygiene standards and social distancing measures continue to be maintained, the suspension of these programs is in best interests of all library users.

Council would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and thank the community for their understanding at this time.
