Isaac Regional Council’s water meter readers will soon begin meter readings to measure the consumption for upcoming water notices.

To help ensure the charges are accurate, efficient and reliable, the manual water meter read project will take place across Isaac between the hours of:

6am to 6pm
Tuesday, 16 June 2020 to Tuesday, 14 July 2020
The program will not be operating during public holidays and weekends

This is in preparation for the water notices to be issued for the period of January 2020 to June 2020.

This notice is expected to be sent to ratepayers in August 2020.

All meter-reading contractors will carry official Council identification. Authorisation to undertake the water meter reads is under Section 37 of the Water Supply (Safety and Reliability) Act 2008.

As part of our response to the Coronavirus and in the interests of public safety, residents are requested not to approach meter readers while they are attending their premises.
