Isaac Regional Council advises Dysart residents to immediately restrict non-essential water use due to a critical asset failure at the water treatment plant.

Level 4 water restrictions will remain in effect until reservoir levels have been restored, at which time the Dysart community will be notified accordingly.

Council requests that residents restrict water use until further notice. This includes:

  • No hosing hard surfaces
  • No sprinklers
  • No automated irrigation systems
  • No hand-held hoses

Once the water supply has been replenished, residents may experience instances of dirty water.

Council recommends that the affected homes flush their services for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear.

To avoid wasting water, we recommend that it be used on your garden or lawn.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their cooperation
