St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend is back for 2023!

23 June to 25 June 2023

Queensland's premiere cultural and food event is back in 2023 to tantalise your tastebuds, animate your artistic bones and blow you away with some of the best entertainment and First Nations performers as one of nature’s finest wetlands burst into life.

This year the event will be held at the St Lawrence Sportsground, Railway Parade, St Lawrence.  Camping, Caravanning and Glamping will continue to be available at the Recreational Grounds just a couple of minutes away.

The 3-day event provides one of Queensland’s most unique experiences with visitors from around Australia travelling to the Isaac Coast to enjoy our unique intimate setting and partake in the arts and cultural heritage experiences, delight in our localised culinary sessions, while exploring the wetlands and learning about the regions broader environmental eco-system.

St Lawrence Wetlands Weekend is delivered by Isaac Regional Council in collaboration with our key theme stakeholders and the local St Lawrence community thanks to support from our event partners Tourism and Events Queensland and The Koinmeburra people of Koinjimal Country.

Count on Costa!

Costa Georgiadis is making a return and will be hosting interactive workshops, eco-walks and live shows that will enhance your wetlands experience.

General admission

General admission includes gardening sessions with Costa, cultural experiences, arts workshops, creative spaces, bird watching, wetlands tours, environmental presentations, pop-up shops, live entertainment for the whole family and more.

Dan and Steph bring the gourmet!

We are excited to introduce celeb chefs and winners of My Kitchen Rules 2013 Dan and Steph as our culinary experts for the weekend. You won't want to miss the luncheon on Saturday for a taste explosion.

Nik Flack is back!

We wont be short on foodie experiences as we welcome back Mackay local and talented chef Nik Flack to provide attendees with mouthwatering signature elements, including the Friday night sunset cultural experience and the Saturday night Flackyard fine dining.
