Clermont 2024 Australia Day

We're still celebrating Australia Day

Clermont Showgrounds is all set for a true blue Australia Day celebration. The annual parade kicks off at the Council depot on Wattle Hill Road and will make its way around to the pavilion area. The awards ceremony to celebrate our local community heroes will be held in the undercover area between the two pavilions. There is so much to celebrate with a barbecue, food vans, horse carriage rides, amusement rides, children’s activities, and live entertainment. This Isaac Regional Council event is assisted by the Australian Government through the National Australia Day Council. The Clermont event is one of nine events being held around the region this year. It has been moved a day early to assist in the logistical and staffing challenges associated with delivering nine events across a region the size of Tasmania.
