Electoral Commission Queensland has informed Isaac Regional Council a hybrid ballot system for the 2024 Council Election.
- Division 1 - full postal ballot
- Divisions 2, 3 and 6 - attendance voting
- Divisions 4, 5, 7 and 8 - electors in these divisions will not be required to vote as both the mayor and councillor are unopposed.

Depending on where you live, your voting arrangements may be different for the upcoming council elections.
- Division 1 electors will vote by post which means you’ll be automatically sent postal voting materials.
- Division 2, 3, and 6 electors will need to vote in-person before or on election day on Saturday 16 March or apply for a postal vote (apply before 7pm on 4 March).
- Division 4, 5, 7 and 8 electors are not required to vote as both the mayor and councillors are unopposed.
