Lake Elphinstone

Lake Elphinstone is a natural lake about 60km from Nebo and 24km from Glenden, adjacent to the turn off to Mount Coolon on Suttor Development Road.

A significant section of the property near the lake is on recreation reserve under control of Isaac Regional Council.

The lake itself is a great spot for fishing, birdwatching and popular among the region's local water sports fanatics.

 

Fees

Overnight camping at Lake Elphinstone is charged at $15.50 per night for a maximum stay of 14 consecutive nights.

Payment can be made via the following options:

  • Calling Council during business hours
  • Over the counter at Council offices during business hours

    Sites are not powered and visitors are reminded to bring their own water
