Animal Management Facilities

Council has two Animal Management Centres in the Isaac region, one is located along 139 Goonyella Road, Moranbah and the other is located at 37 Nolan Drive, Middlemount.

Please contact us on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227) to visit the Animal Management Centres.

Residents should call Isaac Regional Council’s customer service centre if they:

  • have lost a pet
  • want to claim their impounded animal (after payment of the impounding fee)
  • want to surrender a stray dog
  • want to report a wandering or straying animal.  

Council works closely with a number of rescue groups and the RSPCA should dogs not be able to be rehomed locally.
