Reporting to the Director Engineering and Infrastructure, the Manager Engineering Services is responsible for delivering infrastructure planning, design, and technical services for Council, including road corridor management, capital program development, and third-party infrastructure coordination. This role is critical in providing strategic leadership, supporting long-term capital works planning, and managing technical operations and consultant engagements across road, drainage and other civil assets.
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a results-driven leader with:
- Extensive civil engineering experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership or senior technical role
- Strong knowledge of road and drainage infrastructure and local government operations
- Proven ability to manage technical teams and consultants
- Demonstrated strategic planning, asset management, and program development experience
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (postgraduate qualifications and RPEQ desirable)
- A current C Class Australian Driver’s License
