Isaac Regional Council advises Moranbah residents of planned maintenance on critical control valves at the Moranbah Water Treatment Plant from:

9am, Thursday, 11 July 2024
to
6am, Friday, 12 July 2023

During this time, the town’s main pump station will be offline. The secondary tower and pump station will be supplying water. This may result in reduced water pressure and possible limited supply in some areas if demand is high.

Once the water supply has been restored, residents may experience instances of discoloured water. If discoloured water occurs, Council recommends flushing tap water for up to five minutes or until the water becomes clear. Council also recommends that any flushing water be used on your garden or lawn.

Council apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience. If you require further information, please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227), or alternatively email records@isaac.qld.gov.au.
