Moranbah Health and Wellness Expo

WIMARQ Bowen Basin, in partnership with Moranbah & District Support Services (MDSS), is excited to bring the Community Wellness Expo & Panel Discussion to Moranbah on Wednesday, 9 September 2026, at the Isaac Events Centre, from 3:30 pm.

The event is proudly funded and delivered in collaboration with Anglo American.

Following the wonderful community participation at our previous event, we are inviting health, wellbeing and community service providers who support Moranbah and surrounding areas to join us for an afternoon and evening focused on health, wellness and, most importantly, self-care.

There are several ways you can be involved:

• �� Host a stall to promote your organisation, services or programs
• �� Run a mini-session, demonstration or challenge
• �� Contribute information, products or items to gift bags
• �� Donate to our lucky door prizes
• �� Share practical tips, resources or activities with the community

Event Itinerary

2:00 – 3:00 pm – Exhibitor setup and preparation

3:30 pm – Doors open to the public
☕ Coffee van and Heart of Australia Van will be located at the front entrance.

3:30 – 6:00 pm – Community Health & Wellness Expo
Exhibitors can showcase their services and connect with the community.

We also have 8 x 15-minute mini-session spots available for exhibitors who would like to showcase something on stage.

Some examples could include:

• Quick yoga, stretching or mindfulness sessions
• Dance or group fitness demonstrations
• Breathing and relaxation techniques
• Healthy cooking or nutrition demonstrations
• Self-care and wellbeing activities
• First aid or health awareness demonstrations
• Stress management techniques
• Workplace wellbeing tips
• Fun fitness challenges
• Interactive health and wellness activities

6:00 pm – Expo stalls finish

6:30 – 7:30 pm – Welcome drinks, nibbles and Panel Discussion

8:00 pm – Official event finish
