Team Leader - Infrastructure West - Clermont

An exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Team Leader – Infrastructure to join our Infrastructure Services Directorate. This position is pivotal in providing assistance with coordination, integration and delivery of services and the construction, maintenance and operational delivery of programs relating to roads, buildings and drainage.

What the job involves:

  • Leading and supporting work crews — keeping the team motivated, organised and on track across multiple sites.
  • Using your civil construction know‑how to make sure jobs are done safely, correctly and to a high standard.
  • Staying organised and communicating clearly with the team, supervisors and other stakeholders.
  • Handling basic admin and reporting using Microsoft Office.
  • Sharing practical advice on construction methods, planning work, and helping schedule jobs.
  • Keeping safety front and centre and making sure everyone follows WHS requirements.
  • Spotting and solving problems with council assets before they become bigger issues.
  • Being available for call‑outs and taking part in the on‑call roster when needed.

What you’ll need:

  • Construction White Card
  • C Class Open Driver’s Licence
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment checks
  • Relevant qualifications in civil construction or 5+ years’ experience in a similar supervisory role

If you are successful in this position, you will receive:

  • Salary $82,791.82 - $97,373.54 per annum + allowances
  • Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
  • RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
  • 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
  • 15 days personal leave per annum
  • Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
