Heidi Roberts

Heidi Roberts is an accomplished executive leader with extensive experience driving transformational change across government, resource, and infrastructure sectors. With a strong background in corporate governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, Heidi brings a results-driven approach to delivering high-quality, community-focused outcomes.
Prior to joining Isaac Regional Council, Heidi held senior executive roles including Group Executive, Business Performance at Sunshine Coast Council, and Executive Director positions within the Queensland Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy. She has also served as an interim executive across C-suite and board roles, supporting both public and private sector organisations in strategy, policy, and governance.
Heidi holds a Bachelor of Laws from QUT, a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from the University of Tasmania, and has completed executive programs with the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Sustainable Minerals Institute. Her leadership is defined by a collaborative style, a commitment to excellence, and a deep understanding of the complex environments in which local government operates.
