An exciting opportunity has opened for a permanent full-time Labourer to join our dedicated Infrastructure Services Directorate in the welcoming and vibrant town of St Lawrence. This is your chance to be part of a team that keeps our community spaces thriving and beautiful!
Reporting to the Team Leader, this position is responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance of community usage areas including sportsgrounds, parks, open space, cemeteries as well as park asset (furniture, tables/chairs, shelters) maintenance, tree maintenance, and irrigation repairs and maintenance for the Engineering & Infrastructures across Isaac Regional Council.
The successful candidate will have:
- Knowledge and experience in basic mechanics, general maintenance and gardening.
Relevant certification for the operation of plant and equipment, horticulture and poison operations and minimum 12 months experience is essential.
- Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
- Construction Blue/White Card.
- Ability to pass pre-employment functional assessment.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $65,227.21 - $66,375.54 per annum (Stream B, Level 2 – 3)
- Nominally 76 hours per fortnight
- Full Time, Permanent Position
- Based in St Lawrence
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
- RDO’s in accordance with Council Policy
- Up to 14.5% super in accordance with Council Policy
