King's birthday public holiday

Council would like to advise Isaac communities and residents that all Offices, Libraries, Depots, Waste Management Facilities and Isaac Museums will be closed for the King’s Birthday public holiday on:

Monday, 5 October 2026.

All the offices, hubs, museums and depots will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, 6 October 2026.

All Isaac Waste Management Facilities will be closed on Monday, 5 October 2026.

Please check opening hours for all sites for Tuesday, 7 October 2026.

A reminder to all residents that kerbside waste and recycling collections will go ahead as normal on public holidays across the region. Information about kerbside collection days for your town can be found here https://www.isaac.qld.gov.au/Residents/Waste/Waste-Management-Facilities.

Some changes to opening hours for Isaac region pools apply, please see Council's website for swimming pool operating hours at https://www.isaac.qld.gov.au/Facilities/Pools.
