Council advises Moranbah residents that CCTV cameras will be installed at Lions Park, Moranbah from Monday, 24 August 2026 to Tuesday, 1 September 2026.

These works form part of Council's ongoing commitment to improving safety and security in public spaces.
During the installation period, contractors, vehicles and equipment will be operating within the park. Temporary restrictions may apply around work areas.

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.
Vandalism creates unsafe environments for our community, results in facility closures for community members who do the right thing, and forces Council to spend a lot of time and money on repairs across the region. These resources can be better spent on improving our communities.
