CCTV installation, Dysart and Moranbah

Council wishes to advise the community that CCTV installation and associated electrical works will be undertaken at the following locations:

  • Lions Park, Moranbah
  • Binda Park, Moranbah
  • Bernborough Park, Moranbah
  • Centenary Park, Dysart

Works will commence from Monday, 8 June 2026.
Monday to Friday 6am to 6pm and Saturday 6am to 2pm.

During this time, contractors will be on site carrying out electrical installations and related activities.

Residents and park users are advised to:

  • Be aware of their surroundings while works are in progress
  • Follow all signage and directions from contractors
  • Maintain a safe distance from work areas

These works are to enhance community safety, protect public infrastructure, and deter ongoing acts of vandalism within Council-managed Park areas.

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission. Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL
Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks. To report damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS.
