Capital works, Nebo Showgrounds Stage 1 Masterplan Redevelopment

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise the Nebo community that capital works to the Nebo Showgrounds will begin on:

Monday, 15 September 2025
Monday to Friday, 6am to 6pm and Saturday, 6am to 2pm (weather permitting)

These works are expected to take approximately four months, with completion anticipated by Thursday, 15 January 2026. The schedule has been carefully planned to minimise disruption to user groups and existing bookings.

The scope of works include:

• Site clearing
• Drainage works
• New internal access paths (both heavy and light vehicle paths)
• Construction of two polocrosse fields
• Upgrades to the competitor camping area including fencing, power access points, and water access points
• Installation of new culverts
• Installation of new fencing in areas

Council’s contractor, Durack, has developed a comprehensive dust suppression plan that will be actively enforced throughout construction to minimise disruption to neighbouring properties.

Access to the showgrounds will be limited throughout the project. Visitors are advised to maintain caution during the works and follow any directional signage in place.

This is part of the Stage 1 of Nebo Showgrounds Masterplan Redevelopment Project which is proudly funded through the Australian Government’s Investing in Our Communities program.
