Cattle droving Cheeseborough Rd Clermont

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents and users of the road network that a drover has been permitted under the Stock Route Management Act 2002 to drove 1800 head of stock along:

Cheeseborough Road, Clermont Showgrounds heading to the boundary with Central Highlands and continuing down the Gregory Highway

From 5 December 2023 to 6 December 2023

All traffic travelling these roads are advised to be aware of the signage, slow down and take care around the cattle.

The Isaac Region Stock Route Network is a valuable asset.  The network is utilised for moving large herds of cattle on foot and provides a valuable feed resource during times of low rainfall.
