Clermont Show holiday closures

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise communities of the following temporary closures and normal operating hours for the Isaac Region’s Clermont Show public holiday for Clermont, Dysart, Middlemount and Moranbah on Wednesday, 27 May 2026.

COUNCIL OFFICES, ISAAC LIBRARIES AND FACILITIES

Council's offices, customer service centres, libraries, depots, galleries, recreation centres and halls at Moranbah, Dysart, Clermont and Middlemount will be closed on Wednesday 27 May 2026 and will re-open during normal business hours from Thursday, 28 May 2026. The Clermont Museum will also be closed and re-open on Thursday, 28 May 2026. All other towns in the Isaac region will operate as normal.

ISAAC POOLS

The Moranbah Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre will be open from 10am to 5pm.  There will be no Learn to Swim classes on this day.  Normal operating hours will resume on Thursday, 28 May 2026. Flaggy Rock Swimming Pool and St Lawrence Swimming Pool will continue normal operating hours.  All other pools have closed for the season and expected to reopen early September 2026. WASTE SERVICES

Kerbside waste and recycling collections will go ahead as normal on public holidays across the region.  Please ensure your bins are placed on the kerbside by 6am on collection day. Visit isaac.qld.gov.au/Kerbside-Collection for more information.

WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

Waste management facilities at Clermont, Dysart, Moranbah and Middlemount are closed on the public holiday. Normal operating hours will resume Thursday, 28 May 2026. For more information on facility operating hours visit isaac.qld.gov.au/Waste-Management-Facilities.
