Council thanks residents for their ongoing efforts to reduce water consumption and support the recovery of local water reserves.

To help ensure our water supply remains sustainable, residents are asked to continue using water responsibly by following these conservation measures:

  • Use water for personal consumption only.
  • If you need to shower, please keep it short and consider setting a timer.
  • Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth.
  • Flush the toilet after use.

Residents are also reminded not to:

  • Water lawns or grass
  • Use sprinklers
  • Fill swimming pools

The community's efforts are making a real difference. The town is currently using approximately two-thirds of its normal water consumption, and this reduction is helping local water reserves recover more quickly.

Council appreciates the community's ongoing support and commitment to conserving water.

Thank you for continuing to use water wisely. Every drop counts.
