Council wishes to advise Dysart residents of sewer network Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) inspection works which are due to commence on Monday, 26 October 2026 and continue through until Wednesday, 31 March 2027 in strategically identified locations.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

  • Council has engaged a contractor to undertake CCTV inspections of the sewer gravity mains and pipelines.
  • The works will be completed in stages and include the cleaning and CCTV investigation of underground sewer pipelines to assess their condition and identify maintenance requirements.
  • The works may require access to residential and commercial properties (outdoors only) to access existing public sewer lines and manholes. Affected property occupants will be provided with prior notification.

    WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

These works will be undertaken on:

From Monday, 26 October 2026 to Wednesday, 31 March 2027
7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 7am to 4pm Saturday

Sunday work will be done only in commercial and parkland areas from 8.30am to 4pm, weather permitting.

    WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Council will work closely with the contractor to minimise impacts on residents and businesses.
  • CCTV inspection works will be undertaken using specialised equipment accessed through existing sewer manholes.
  • Temporary traffic management may be required in some locations.
  • Residents may experience minor increases in noise and vehicle movements during the works.
  • Appropriate safety, traffic, noise and environmental controls will be maintained throughout the project.
  • There should be no disruption to normal water or wastewater services.
