Floodway Construction Works - No Name Road and Karmoo Road

Council advises residents that construction works have commenced for the installation of new floodway along sections of No Name Road and Karmoo Road from:

Wednesday, 8 April 2026
to
Thursday, 25 June 2026
Time:
Monday to Friday, 6am to 6pm
Saturday, 6am to 2pm

The works include the construction of floodway at the following locations:

  • No Name Road: CH 6.91, CH 13.10, CH 19.67, and CH 26.16
  • Karmoo Road: CH 1.09

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING CONSTRUCTION:

  • Temporary traffic disruptions, including reduced speeds and possible short delays
  • Increased construction vehicle movements
  • Possible temporary road closures during critical work stages

Motorists are advised to exercise caution while travelling through the area, drive to conditions, and follow all directional signage and traffic management measures in place.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks the community for its patience and cooperation.
