Council advises Moranbah residents repair works will be undertaken at Bernborough Park from Monday, 12 October 2026 to Friday, 16 October 2026 (weather and site conditions permitting). These repairs are due to recent vandalism to the Shannon Street gate and rear boundary fence.
During this period, the park will remain open, however access via the Shannon Street gate will be closed.
Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.
Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.
Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks.
