Report locusts and nymphs, Isaac Region
Published on 16 October 2025
Council advises residents to remain vigilant about locusts and nymphs in their area, and to report sightings. If you see large numbers of locusts or nymphs, please report them via:
Email: Department of Primary Industries locustreports@dpi.qld.gov.au
Call: Biosecurity Queensland on 13 25 23.
The Department of Primary Industries (DPI) is currently monitoring and managing locust activity across western Queensland through aerial and ground spraying. Your reports help the DPI target the right areas, reducing the risk of large swarms forming.
To learn more about locusts and how to identify them, see the DPI fact sheet here: How to identify locusts.
