Place of Refuge relocated to Clermont State School

Council advises anyone seeking refuge in Clermont the official place of refuge has been relocated to Clermont State School.

Open Monday, 12 January until further notice. 

Do not go to the Clermont Showgrounds.

Residents are advised to MONITOR CONDITIONS and BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND due to dangerous flooding happening now. Water in the Sandy Creek, Clermont is rising fast. 
The Bureau of Meteorology advises ongoing heavy rain in Clermont and surrounding areas. 
 
Do not drive unless necessary. 
 
Do not enter flood waters.
