UPDATE: Kerbside collection delays, Isaac region

Isaac Regional Council advises the community of kerbside waste and recycling collection delays due to current wet weather and road conditions following recent flooding caused by Ex-Tropical Cyclone Koji. If your bins have been missed, please leave them out until they are collected.

TOWN

EXPECTED COLLECTION DATE

CLERMONT

Recycling services originally scheduled for Tuesday, 13 January 2026, will be collected on Tuesday, 20 January 2026.

Normal services will then resume as per the usual schedule.

DYSART

As per the normal scheduled service

GLENDEN

The scheduled waste‑only collection service for Friday, 16 January 2026 could not be completed due to flooding risks along the Suttor Developmental Road.

Waste and recycling services will resume next week, in line with the usual schedule, on Tuesday, 20 January 2026.

Council has made alternative arrangements to ensure the Glenden Waste Management Facility will remain operational on Saturday, 17 January 2026 and Sunday, 18 January 2026, even if the Suttor Developmental Road remains flooded.

MIDDLEMOUNT

As per the normal scheduled service.

MORANBAH

As per the normal scheduled service for today.

Some disruptions to waste and recycling services expected on Friday, 16 January 2026. Missed locations will be collected on Saturday, 17 January 2026.

NEBO

As per the normal scheduled service.

COASTAL (Ilbilbie, Greenhill, Carmila, Flaggy Rock, Clairview, St Lawerence)

Kerbside collection will be delayed due to weather conditions and mechanical issues.

Missed bins in will be collected Tuesday, 20 January 2026.

Areas affected include:

  • Ilbilbie
  • Greenhill
  • Carmila
  • Flaggy Rock
  • Clairview
  • St Lawrence

Please leave your bins out until they are collected.

Council will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and provide regular updates to residents. As these conditions may further impact the expected collection date, we kindly ask residents to leave their bins out until collection occurs.
