Labour Day public holiday closure and operating hours

Isaac Regional Council would like to advise communities of the following temporary closures for the Labour Day public holiday across its sites.

COUNCIL OFFICES, ISAAC LIBRARIES AND FACILITIES

Council's offices, customer service counters, libraries, depots, museums, galleries, recreation centres and halls will be closed Monday, 6 May 2024.

Normal operating hours will resume as per below:

  • All customer service counters, offices, libraries, depots, recreation centres and halls will resume normal operating hours at 8.30am on Tuesday, 7 May 2024.
  • Historic Nebo Museum at 9am on Tuesday, 7 May 2024.
  • Clermont Historical Centre at 9am on Wednesday, 8 May 2024.

WASTE SERVICES

Kerbside waste and recycling collections will go ahead as normal on public holidays across the region.

WASTE MANAGEMENT FACILITIES

Waste management facilities are closed on public holidays. Normal operating hours for Clermont, Dysart, Glenden, Moranbah, Nebo and St Lawrence will resume Tuesday, 7 May 2024. Carmila, Greenhill and Middlemount will operate under their normal Monday hours on Tuesday, 7 May 2024. ISAAC POOLS

The Moranbah Greg Cruickshank Aquatic Centre (GCAC) will be open 10am to 5pm Monday, 6 May 2024. Normal operating hours to resume Tuesday, 7 May 2024. Flaggy Rock Swimming Pool and St Lawrence Swimming Pool will continue normal operating hours.

All other Isaac pools across the region will be closed for the winter period, effective from closing time on Sunday, 28 April to early September 2024. For more information on Isaac pools visit www.isaac.qld.gov.au/pools
