Council advises residents and sporting clubs of a partial closure to the Eastern Sporting Fields on:

This temporary closure is required for an educational exercise showing how crashes affect vehicles at different speeds.
A 50-metre exclusion zone will be established, with temporary closure of identified access points for public safety. The affected area will be secured and monitored throughout the event duration.
Council will undertake a full clean-up of glass and debris on the afternoon of 16 July, including mechanical sweeping.
We encourage clubs and user groups to plan accordingly and consider alternative arrangements where necessary.
