Partial temporary closure to landfill - Moranbah Waste

Isaac Regional Council advises that the green waste, steel, whitegoods and mattresses section of the Moranbah Landfill is temporarily closed while essential testing and maintenance works are carried out on-site.

During this period, the Moranbah Waste Management Facility remains open, with alternative disposal arrangements in place for green waste, steel whitegoods and mattresses. Waste disposal at the active landfill continues to operate as per normal.

Council appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation during these necessary works and apologises for any inconvenience caused.
