Temporary closure of playground at Binda Park

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents that the playground at Binda Park, Moranbah will be temporarily closed from:

Thursday, 25 July 2024
to
Monday, 12 August

This closure is to allow for new fence installations, maintenance to playground equipment and other repairs necessary after the playground was subject to vandalism.

Council asks residents to maintain caution and abide by signage in place.

VANDALISM IS A CRIME

Vandalism is the act of damaging or defacing property without permission.

Council spends a lot of time and money fixing instances of vandalism across the region that could be better spent on improving our communities.

REPORT TO COUNCIL

Rapid reporting allows Council to quickly address any instances of vandalism and protect the community if the vandalism presents risks.

To report damage to public property, contact Council on 1300 ISAACS.

Call police on 000 in an emergency or for non-urgent reporting and enquiries call Policelink on 131 444.
