Council advises residents and businesses of a planned water supply interruption in Glenden on

Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 July 2026
9am to 3pm
Weather permitting

These works involve the replacement of critical water main valves and associated fittings within the Glenden water network to improve the reliability, operation, and future maintenance of the town water supply system.

Works will begin at the corner of Usher Terrace and Atherton Crescent, progress to Dinang Crescent and Atherton Crescent, and conclude at Dinang Crescent and Stuart Terrace.

Public toilet adjacent to the town pool will be open and operational during this time.

Residents are encouraged to store adequate drinking water prior to the shutdown.

During the shutdown periods, the town water supply will be unavailable.  Some minor discolouration or air in the water may occur when supply is restored.

Traffic management measures will be in place during these works. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to maintain caution on the road, drive to conditions and follow any directional signage in place.

Council thanks residents and businesses for their patience and cooperation while these essential infrastructure upgrades are completed. For more information, please contact Council’s Customer Service Centre available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 1300 ISAACS (1300 472 227), or email records@isaac.qld.gov.au.
