Update - Fencing at parks across Isaac

Fencing was installed at Hoods Lagoon, Clermont and Brian Coughlan Park, Moranbah in October due to an elevated risk of branch fall caused by the seasonal influx of the migratory Little Red flying fox. Now the flying foxes have reduced in numbers, an arborists assessment will be undertaken to inspect tree canopies and trunks for any likely risks to users before re opening the paths in these parks.  If elevated risks remain, the paths in the parks will remain closed until the risk can be addressed.

Please do not enter the fenced area. Park users are still able to walk around.
