The Moranbah Waste Management Facility will remain closed today Thursday, 23 May 2024.

Council is aware of a fire at the Moranbah Waste Management Facility.

Fire crews and water trucks are on site and have the situation managed.

As a result of the fire, the Moranbah Waste Facility will be closed tomorrow.
