Temporary closure, Moranbah Waste Management Facility

Isaac Regional Council wishes to advise residents that the Moranbah Waste Management Facility is closed for the remainder of today:

This closure is due to a recent fire sparked by current weather conditions.

Emergency services are on site and actively managing the situation.

Residents are advised to remain indoors, keep doors and windows closed, and avoid exposure to smoke where possible.

Council will continue to monitor developments closely and will provide updates to the community as more information becomes available.
