Rates notices arriving soon
Rates notices will arrive in letterboxes from March 13. Prompt payment of rates will secure a 10 per cent discount, if paid before Wednesday May 10. The 10 per cent discount applies to general rates, and excludes all special rates and charges, provided outstanding amounts and overdue rates and interest are paid in full by the due date.
If you haven’t received your notice by March 27 please contact Council. Some financial institutions can take up to three working days to process an electronic payment. Electronic payments must be processed before the end of the discount period.
Register for electronic rates
If you are experiencing delays in postal service or would like to receive an electronic notice, contact Council to register your email address. If you have a change in circumstance, please update your contact details to ensure the prompt delivery of your rates notice.
Prepay your rates
How to prepay your ratesRatepayers are encouraged to get ahead of their bills by prepaying rates throughout the year. Council have a number of easy payment options including BPAY instalments weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Contact Council’s Rating Team for an estimate of your prepay amount. Then set up a BPAY payment using the Biller Code and Reference Number on your rates notice.

Property Rates 2016-17
Property Rates 2016-17 (PDF 1.2 MB) is designed to assist ratepayers to better understand the rating system and how Isaac Regional Council utilises funds raised by rating to provide infrastructure and services.

Water charges are now in effect following a 12-month delay to help ratepayers prepare for the new system.
The first water notice issued will be for the period July 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 and will be issued during January, 2018.
